You will feel immediately welcomed by the Jaspersons. Once you hang around for a while, their warmth and ease will bring you into the fold and make you feel part of the family. The atmosphere at Facet 58 Farm is one of efficient bustling laid back activity, a mix of seriousness with joy for riding horses.

Jasperson family

Tovah is petite in stature but has lots of talent and a big heart. Her friendly demeanor off the arena and quick smile as she keeps an eye on the antics of her students helps put everybody at ease. Her students, who call her Miss Tovah, respect her and dotingly follow her instructions as they know that warm congratulations will be on their way for a job well done.

Tovah started riding at the age of six. A natural, she soon won prestigious awards in every class she competed in and was jumping 4 feet high by the age of 11. Besides earning awards and becoming state champion several times, she also often qualified and won awards in the top four events in the country, Devon, PA, Harrisburg, Washington D.C., and Madison Square Garden, NY.

She also has extensive knowledge in everything equestrian. She is a certified horse trainer and instructor, a certified Bloodstock Agent, managed horse racing and breeding farms, broke and pin hooked yearlings, has been a veterinary assistant, supervised shoeing to veterinary care, and breaking and legging up. All this wealth of knowledge combined with her natural talent, has given her a keen eye to appraise horses as well as riders. You can read her full resume here.

Kurt joined Tovah in 2007 and easily found his place at Facet 58 Farm. A cowboy by nature, his knowing and assuring western prairie non-judgmental deep attitude provides a great complement to Tovah's. A nod is all it takes as you spot that twinkle in his eyes. Kurt provides much needed farrier services and personally feeds the animals daily and is in charge of the facilities maintenance. Together with Tovah's training, you can rest assured that your horse is checked upon several times a day.

Scarlet and Cedar

No family would be complete without that sparkling full of energy bundle of joy. Scarlet can be seen dashing from and to providing a helping hand to young riders. A student herself, Scarlet is already an accomplished skilled rider who together with Apache offer a glimpse of the future to young green riders as they fearlessly tear around the arena.
