Riding attire for schooling
- Breeches, jodphurs,or long pants
- Close fitting long or short sleeve shirt/T-shirt
- Paddock boots and half chaps or tall boots
- SEI approved helmet
- Gloves
- Belt
- It is best to have hair in a pony tail
Lesson guidelines
Facet 58 Farm is committed to providing you with a fun, friendly, and safe experience. In order to maintain the
outstanding quality of horses, Horsemanship, and beautiful surroundings, we ask that you abide by the following rules
and expected code of conduct:
- 24-hour notice required to cancel lessons, if not you will be charged full lesson price
- Every rider must have a signed release form before mounting
- Riding Students must be mounted and prepared to enter the arena at the scheduled lesson time. For customer
service and horse/rider safety, late arrivals are not permitted
- Lead-Line & walk/trot students please be ready for your instructor at time of scheduled lesson
- Students are required to dress appropriately for riding lessons. Breeches/jodhpurs and or jeans are acceptable,
no shorts
- A Facet "58" Farm polo shirt* long or short sleeves form fitting shirt
- Paddock boots or field boots are the most appropriate footwear
- No one under the age of 16 may ride without parent, guardian or trainer supervision
- Keep hair neatly pulled back in your helmet
- No one may ride or mount without a harnessed safety helmet (SEI approved), no exceptions
- Riding gloves are recommended
- Riding with glasses is not recommended for safety reasons
- Parents and/or guardians are not allowed in arena under any circumstance
